Employment Zone

An extremely innovative employment programme offering participants a range of flexible advice, guidance, training and work experience opportunities. Participants work with their Adviser to formulate a plan of action to get back to work. Funding is available to ensure goals are achieved. Further support is provided when participants find wont.

Duration

• Planning Zone - up to 4 weeks
• Action Zone - up to 26 weeks
• Follow On - up to 22 weeks

• Flexible

Eligibility

• Aged over 25 and unemployed for 18 months or longer
• Aged 18-24 and having previously attended a New Deal programme
• Claiming Jobseekers Allowance
• Voluntary early entry is available for some participants including people with disabilities, ex-offenders, refugees, and homeless people
