History
sencia originally started as Pelcombe Training Ltd. Initially based in Colchester, the company produced water filters but moved into training when the then owner Roger Cole realised that there was a shortage of qualified engineers. Over a number of years the core business focus became training and in late 2004 Pelcombe Training was sold and bought out by an investment company - Sovereign Capital. A new management team was implemented and the company was renamed sencia in 2006.
Since then, sencia has gone from strength to strength and in 2007 merged with esg to allow further growth within the market.
